Assessment Process

1

Initial Contact

Once you book your assessment through the website, you’ll receive forms and psychological assessments to complete before our session. These are a key part of the process, helping me gather important information ahead of the diagnostic session.

The assessments and forms can take some time to complete, so I recommend setting aside time to finish them and returning them at least one to two weeks before our session.

2

Diagnostic Session

The diagnostic session can take up to 3 hours (depending on the type of assessment). The goal is to gather additional information and explore together whether your traits align with the formal diagnostic criteria for Autism and/or ADHD.

Afterwards, I will carefully review all the information, including test scores and details from our sessions, to reach a formal diagnostic conclusion.

The turnaround time for your report/ summary letter is usually around 3 to 6 weeks.

3

Feedback Session

  • Discovery Assessment: Within 2 weeks of your diagnostic session, you’ll receive your two-page summary letter via email. A 30-minute feedback session will be scheduled within 24–48 hours of receiving your results to explain the findings and answer questions. This session is informational only and is not a therapeutic session. Clients who wish to explore emotional impact, identity, or support planning are encouraged to book an extended session.

  • Comprehensive Assessment: Approximately 6 weeks after your diagnostic session, we’ll meet for a 50-minute session to review your full report, explain your results clearly, and answer questions. This session is also informational rather than therapeutic.

Please note

Reports from this service are not guaranteed to meet NDIS eligibility criteria.

The NDIS considers various factors—such as functional capacity—that extend beyond diagnostic outcomes.

If your primary aim is to access NDIS funding, you may wish to seek an alternative provider with specific expertise in that area.

Psychologists do not prescribe or manage medication. If medication is something you are considering, a GP or psychiatrist can support you with this. Your assessment results can be shared with them to help inform your care.

This service provides diagnostic assessment and written report or summary letter only. It does not include ongoing therapeutic support or crisis management.
